The 1200 S TOURING is equipped with OHLINS suspension - front and rear, that features the innovative DUCATI ELECTRONIC SUSPESION (DES), which enables automatic compression and rebound damping adjustment, ensuring an optimum suspension set-up for each Riding Mode.

DUCATI TRACTION CONTROL (DTC) that offers a choice of eight profiles. RIDING MODE (Sport, Urban, Touring и Enduro) with different set-ups in Power Mode, DES , ABS, DTC. The SPORT riding mode delivers an adrenalin-filled 150 h.p. ride with sports-oriented throttle response and an instant high performance suspension set-up. The Power output in URBAN riding mode is adjusted to 100 h.p., DTC is further enhanced to provide increased intervention during the most chaotic of stop-start traffic and the suspension instantly selects a setting designed to tackle the maze of city streets full of speed bumps and drain covers. The TOURING riding mode is programmed to produce 150 h.p. designed in a configuration that delivers a smoother and more user-friendly throttle response. Active safety is already available with the advanced ABS system, but in Touring mode it is further enhanced by increasing DTC intervention and the suspension automatically dials-in a setting ideal for long distance journeys. In ENDURO riding mode the engine instantly delivers a smooth 100 h.p. with DTC reset to an off-road suitable level for less intervention, disabled ABS and an appropriate suspension setting ready for when the asphalt runs out.
